We are Marty (30) and Gemma (28) and we're looking for a new housemate to share our lovely spacious share-house in North Fitzroy.
The house is a light-filled three storey modern town house. It has a large open plan lounge and fully equipped kitchen upstairs with gas cooking + nice views to the city. We have a big north facing balcony, which is a great spot to sit + relax on a sunny weekend or a summer evening. We also have ducted heating for cold days too. There's plenty of on street parking available and we have one undercover off-street parking spot.
The house is located really close to public transport including the 112 and 86 trams with Rushall train station just a short walk away. Our neighbourhood also features Edinburgh Gardens, Piedmontes supermarket, plenty of bike trails, Princes Park and lots of great local cafes, pubs and restaurants.
The room available is downstairs and will come unfurnished. It has built in wardrobes and access to a second small paved courtyard. It has big windows that let in lots of natural light. There's plenty of space for a double bed plus other furniture you might have (desk, bookcases, drawers etc). You'll be sharing the downstairs bathroom with one other housemate.
Rent for the room is $627 per calendar month. Bond is $500.
Bills including gas, electricity, water and wireless internet are split three ways.
We are looking for a female housemate 25+, non smoking and someone who is working full-time. You'll be sociable, friendly and easy going plus looking for a nice place to call home. Bonus points if you have a washing machine or a stereo to bring with you.
